More About Maggie Glover
Curious, scrappy, & impact-driven brand marketing leader and writer with 15 years of experience & a one-of-kind background.
Highlights of Maggie’s career include serving as ipsy’s first Director of Brand Marketing and managing product marketing at Viator (A Trip Advisor Company). Most recently, Maggie led product marketing and copywriting at Pango Group (an Aura company), a global cybersecurity company. She ran her own Los Angeles-based marketing agency, Glover Digital Marketing, until 2021.
Maggie has 15 years of experience in marketing, beginning her career as one of the first employees of ModCloth.com and serving as the company’s first marketing leader, building ModCloth’s social media communities from the ground up.
Currently, Maggie serves on the Board of Advisors of TheMachineLA, a tech company founded by entertainment industry leaders to redefine creator and influencer partnerships.
Maggie is a professional writer, too. Her first book, the poetry collection, HOW I WENT RED, was published by Carnegie Mellon University Press in 2014. She is featured in Best American Experimental Writing and over 40 peer-reviewed periodicals. You can find out more about her writing career at www.maggieglover.com.
Thanks to her start-up background, Maggie is used to “wearing multiple hats,” and "getting s*** done." She is adept at high-level strategy as well as execution and analysis. She is passionate about storytelling and believes it is a brand's story that is what truly differentiates it from competitors.

Maggie is an amazing leader. She's inspiring and her energy is contagious. I've watched Maggie bring people together, motivate them, and together, deliver amazing results in a timely manner. In addition, Maggie's creativity, intelligence, and collaborative nature make her an invaluable member of the ModCloth team. I'd jump at the chance to work with Maggie again!
I started out my career at ModCloth reporting to Maggie, who at the time was the first-ever Marketing Campaign Manager. Maggie is the type of manager that makes you happy to come into work everyday. She gave us the resources to help us excel at our jobs, offered clear direction and advice, and she has excellent interpersonal skills. The one marketing lesson she taught me, that will always resonate, is rewarding and promoting customer creativity. I am continuously inspired by her ability to create engaging, innovative, and on brand experiences for ModCloth customers.
